Our teams of professionals include some of the most highly experienced and respected geotechnical engineering practitioners, engineering geologists, and geotechnicians, many of whom have post-graduate qualifications and international experience, providing us with access to a broad range of geotechnology.
We are accredited with AS-IEC 17025 certification and practising all Australian Standard Testing Methods (AS1289) endorsed by PNGLAS Certification. Our accreditation number is 028. The lab is equipped and resourced to conduct a comprehensive range of quality control tests for civil construction projects. We are also equipped with a mobile laboratory available for establishment on-site upon request.
Through our PNGLAS accredited laboratories ACEM can offer our clients a wide range of soil and concrete tests following AS1289, Soil Testing for Engineering Purposes, AS1012 Making And Curing Concrete Specimens, AS3798 Guide Lines On Earthworks For Residential And Commercial Developments, AS2870 Residential Slabs and Footings, AS1726 Site Investigation Code, VicRoads Test Methods and Codes of Practice and Main Roads (NSW) Test Methods and Codes of Practice.
Our businesses are managed and operated in accordance with our internal Integrated Management System (IMS). The IMS sets out procedures and provides checks for all our business activities, including planning and implementing geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing and reporting, geotechnical analysis and reporting, data recording, archive maintenance and business administration.
ACEM Geotechniques owns a large inventory of construction, ground drilling, and state-of-the-art laboratory equipment for its broad range of activities. A full suite of plant and machinery is required for the timely and quality execution of work. All our plants, drill rig equipment and vehicles are managed and maintained by a well-experienced team of equipment engineers and mechanics. These equipment and vehicles are serviced and maintained by a fully equipped base workshop. The company continues to invest in the latest plant and machinery and leverages state-of-the-art technologies for excellent results.
